Collated screws 25mm Coarse thread Sharp needle point 1000pcs per box

Collated screws have following features:

  • Needle point: The screws have a sharp needle point, allowing for easy and precise penetration into the plasterboard and timber.
  • Phillips #2 drive: The screws feature a Phillips #2 drive, which is a common type of screw head that fits most standard screwdrivers and power tools.
  • 9 threads per inch: These screws have a coarse thread pattern with nine threads per inch. The coarse threads provide excellent grip and holding power when fastening the plasterboard to timber.
  • Complies with AS3566/NZ3604: The screws meet the standards set by AS3566/NZ3604, ensuring their quality and performance in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Zinc yellow finish: The screws are coated with a zinc yellow finish, which offers moderate protection against corrosion. This coating helps to extend the lifespan of the screws, even in environments where moisture or other corrosive elements may be present.
  • Bugle head design: The screws feature a bugle head design, which means the head is slightly rounded and tapered. This design allows for a flush finish when the screws are driven into the plasterboard, providing a smooth surface.

Collated screws are specially designed screws that are connected together in a strip for use with power tools, such as screw guns or auto-feed screwdrivers. These screws are commonly used in construction and drywall handing to increase efficiency and speed up the installation process.

  1. Length: 25mm – Is the measurement from the tip of the screw to the base of the head. In this case, the screws are 25mm long, which is suitable for applications involving plasterboard handing. 25mm is ideal for 10mm Plasterboard handing.
  2. Coarse Thread: The term “coarse thread” refers to the type of screw thread pattern. Fine-threaded screws have closely spaced threads, providing better holding power in materials like plasterboard installed to a wooden frame. The fine threads create a tighter grip and help prevent the screw from becoming loose over time.
  3. Plasterboard Hanging: The collated screws are specifically designed for hanging plasterboard, also known as drywall. Plasterboard screws typically have a needle point tip, allowing them to easily penetrate and secure the plasterboard to a wooden or metal studs.

When using collated screws for plasterboard hanging, it’s important to ensure the screws are the appropriate length to penetrate the plasterboard and provide sufficient support. The correct length helps to securely anchor the screws in the plasterboard, preventing sagging or loosening over time.

The collated screws are packaged in boxes containing 1,000 screws. The screws are arranged in 20 strips, with each strip holding 50 screws. The strips are connected with a soft malleable plastic that facilitates feeding the screws through a collated gun, ensuring efficient and convenient installation.

Note that while collated screws offer convenience and speed, it’s crucial to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and use the appropriate power tool to avoid damaging the material or compromising the structural integrity of the installation.
